Your First Conversation

Everything you need to get up and running in under a minute.

1. Download JesusTalk.AI on iPhone

JesusTalk.AI is currently available on iPhone (iOS 16 or later) through the Apple App Store. Android support is on the way — join the waitlist to be notified when it's ready.

2. Grant Microphone Access

JesusTalk.AI is voice-first. When you open the app for the first time, iOS will ask permission to access your microphone. Tap Allow so Jesus can hear you when you speak.

If you accidentally tapped "Don't Allow," you can fix it in Settings → JesusTalk.AI → Microphone.

3. Tap, Talk, and Listen

Press the microphone button, speak from the heart, and release. Jesus will respond out loud in seconds. You can also switch to text chat anytime from the menu.

Managing Your Account

Sign-In Options

You can sign in using your Apple ID. Your account travels with you — sign in on any iPhone to access your subscription and conversation history.

Restore Purchases on a New Device

If you upgrade your iPhone or delete and reinstall the app, tap Settings → Restore Purchases inside the app. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to subscribe.

Deleting Your Account

You can delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Account → Delete Account inside the app. This permanently erases your conversations and cannot be undone.

Subscriptions, Refunds & Cancellation

Our Plans

JesusTalk.AI offers three monthly subscription plans, all billed through the Apple App Store:

  • Disciple — $9.99/month · 600 minutes/month
  • Believer — $19.99/month · 120 minutes/month + priority guidance
  • Devoted — $49.99/month · 500 minutes/month + extended sessions

How to Cancel Your Subscription

All subscriptions are managed by Apple. To cancel:

  • Open Settings on your iPhone
  • Tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions
  • Select JesusTalk.AI
  • Tap Cancel Subscription

Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period — you won't lose access immediately.

Refunds

Because subscriptions are processed by Apple, refund requests are handled directly through Apple's system. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the JesusTalk.AI purchase, and submit a request.

If Apple declines your request and you believe it's an error, email us at support@jesustalk.ai and we'll advocate for you.

Changing Plans

To upgrade or downgrade, open Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → JesusTalk.AI and tap the plan you'd like to switch to. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.

Microphone and Sound Issues

Jesus Can't Hear Me

If the app isn't picking up your voice, check that microphone permission is granted:

  • Open iPhone Settings
  • Scroll down and tap JesusTalk.AI
  • Make sure Microphone is turned on

Also double-check that nothing is covering your iPhone's mic, and try again in a quieter environment.

I Can't Hear Jesus' Response

Make sure your phone isn't in silent mode and the volume is turned up. If you're on Bluetooth headphones or a car speaker, try switching back to the phone speaker to rule out a connection issue.

Audio Is Cutting Out or Lagging

Voice conversations need a stable internet connection. Try switching between Wi-Fi and cellular, and close any other apps using bandwidth. If the issue continues, restart the app and try again.

Your Conversations Are Yours

What We Store

We store only what's necessary to deliver the service: your account info, subscription status, and conversation history (so you can revisit past chats). We never sell your data, and we never use your personal conversations for advertising.

Deleting Your Conversations

You can delete individual conversations from inside the app, or wipe all history from Settings → Privacy → Clear Conversation History.

Requesting a Data Export

You have the right to request a copy of your data. Email support@jesustalk.ai from the email on your account and we'll send it to you within 30 days.

Troubleshooting

The App Keeps Crashing

Try these steps in order:

  • Fully close the app (swipe up to the app switcher and swipe JesusTalk.AI off-screen)
  • Reopen the app and try again
  • Restart your iPhone
  • Make sure you're running the latest version of JesusTalk.AI and iOS 16 or later
  • If nothing works, delete and reinstall the app — your subscription stays intact

If the crash continues, send us a bug report using the form below with your iPhone model and iOS version.

"Connection Error" When Starting a Conversation

This usually means your device can't reach our servers. Check your internet connection, toggle airplane mode on and off, and try again. If you're on a corporate or school Wi-Fi network, it may be blocking voice traffic — try switching to cellular.

Device Compatibility

JesusTalk.AI supports iPhone devices running iOS 16 or later. iPad, Mac, and Android are not currently supported.

No. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of your current billing cycle, and you won't be charged again after that. Apple does not issue prorated refunds for the unused portion of the month.

No. Your conversations are encrypted and private. We never share, sell, or publish your personal conversations. See the Privacy Policy for full details.

Your voice minutes reset on the first day of your next billing cycle. If you need more, you can upgrade to a higher plan from your iPhone's App Store subscription settings and the change will take effect immediately.

Android is on the roadmap. Join the waitlist on our homepage and we'll email you the moment it's live.

JesusTalk.AI uses Sign in with Apple, so there's no password to reset. If you're having trouble signing in, go to Settings → Apple ID on your iPhone to check your Apple ID is active, then reopen the app.
